Welcome Desk Coordinator - St. Louis

Jewish Federation of St. Louis seeks a creative, highly motivated Part-Time Welcome Desk Coordinator who will be responsible for oversight of front desk operations that will include answering and responding to incoming calls, greeting and directing visitors, general administrative duties, and providing technical support. 

 
Job Responsibilities
  • Maintain flow and security of visitors entering the building and vendors pulling up to the side gate, ensuring each person is greeted and directed as appropriate to the person or area based on the purpose of their visit
  • Maintain Welcome Desk phone system to include answering incoming calls, responding to caller inquiries, directing calls as appropriate, and taking and giving accurate messages 
  • Monitor security systems and dispatch Security Officers to calls for service
  • Maintain knowledge and training in Security Procedures and Security Systems and their use and purpose as outlined in the Security Manual
  • In partnership with Manager, Technology & Central Services, be able to troubleshoot conference room AV issues that may arise
  • Assist with meeting set-up and clean up where needed
  • Contribute to the overall success of the Jewish Federation of St. Louis
 
Job Requirements
  • High school diploma (or equivalent) required 
  • 3-4 years of prior welcome desk (or related) experience, required 
  • Intermediate proficiency with Windows and Microsoft products
  • A solid knowledge in computer navigation and front entrance security
  • Professional, welcoming personality 
  • Proven excellent customer service skills and ability to be flexible and patient
  • Experience as a team player who interfaces professionally with all levels of internal and external customers
  • Outstanding organizational skills, required
  • Experience in viewing and ability to navigate and troubleshoot Proprietary Security Camera Technology Software such as Genetech Platforms Omincast, Synergis, AutoVu, KiwiVision (Video Analytics)  
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Hours will be Monday through Thursday, 5:00 – 9:30pm.
  • Sunday evening flexibility, preferred.
