WORK LOCATION: Remote/Hybrid Available

 

The Jewish Federations of North America (“JFNA”) consist of 146 Jewish Federations and dozens of Network communities which collectively raise and distribute more than $3 billion annually to support flourishing Jewish life and the needs of the Jewish people in their home communities and around the world. The Jewish Federation system, among the top 10 charities on the continent, leads the largest network of volunteer and professional leaders who build and sustain Jewish communities that are healthy, safe, caring, welcoming and inclusive, educated and engaged, involved in the broader community, and deeply connected to Israel and the global Jewish people.   

 

Position Summary:

The Project Coordinator will be a key part of the Impact & Growth team responsible for using data and research to generate actionable insights, tools, and services that support the success of Federations and the Federation system in driving flourishing Jewish communities. They will spearhead the project management of Federation projects focused on supporting Federation growth by delivering insights and best practices at scale. This individual will be responsible for the organized and proactive communication with and support of our Federation partners around data reporting, insights, and implementation. The Project Coordinator will also play a leading role in the organization, maintenance, facilitation, and community management of Federation’s digital platform for communicating and sharing best practices from Jewish Federations and across the Federation system. Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the central project manager organizing teams and committees to drive effective project outcomes in a variety of data collection and dissemination efforts across the Federation system.
  • Organize and maintain an active digital hub for the Federation system: Collect, edit and share content and best practices; Ensure timely responses to requests; Inspire community participation.
  • Track communications dissemination to JFNA cohorts and conduct reports on impact to drive improvements.
  • Work with colleagues to record and track progress on goals, and to present on progress.
  • Support the Impact and Growth Board Committees
  • Support special and cross-departmental projects.
  • Work across the organization, including with senior staff and Federation leadership, on system-wide projects.

 

The successful candidate will be:

  • An exceptional project manager, who can successfully organize, track, and drive projects to completion. 
  • Experienced in online communications and community management.
  • Exceedingly well-organized and on top of the little things
  • Able to comfortably relate to different stakeholders and understand their needs.
  • Very strong in both written and oral communication.
  • Enthusiastic and willing to go the extra mile to get things done. 
  • Skilled working on complex projects with multiple parts.

 

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated capacity in complex project management in a professional or educational setting.
  • Experience in online community management and facilitation.
  • Connection to and interest in advancing Jewish communal life.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills including the ability to present findings in a polished way.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:  JFNA offers a comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, FSA), including a defined contribution plan, generous vacation policy, paid legal and Jewish holidays, life insurance, generous parental leave policies and flexible remote work practices.  Our compensation philosophy strives to be externally competitive and internally fair.   Additionally, we offer voluntary learning programs throughout the year in subjects of interest to our staff.

 

Salary range:  $58,000 - $68,000
