Destruction from Hurricane Harvey has been massive. The situation on the ground is urgent.

Conditions for the Jewish community in Houston are dire. Large areas are still underwater and some still face additional flooding. Some Jewish institutions have been completely destroyed while others sustained heavy damage. Houston’s Jewish community — especially its tens of thousands of children and elderly — desperately need your help.

Right now, JFNA is on the ground in Houston funding urgently-needed basics such as food, medicine, supplies, and trauma counseling. Our network of local and international partners serves Jewish community members and all in need quickly, effectively, and with personal care. Once the full scope of the damage is known, we will fund important recovery work, including helping rebuild damaged homes and restore Jewish institutions.

One hundred percent of funds raised will be used to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey. Please help us help them. If we receive more funds than needed, additional donations will go to aid victims of future disasters.
