Federation Giving Societies

The Jewish Federations of North America offer many opportunities for donors who dedicate substantial philanthropic resources to Federation campaigns to take part in distinctive events along with peers from across the continent who share their passion for doing good.

Here are wonderful opportunities to join your Federation in making a major impact in improving Jewish life here at home, in Israel and around the globe. Find your Federation and get involved today!

The Ben-Gurion Society (BGS) was founded on the principles of David Ben-Gurion, the first prime minister of Israel, who urged young men and women to channel their power, passion, and resources to build a strong and responsible Jewish community. BGS offers leadership development, networking opportunities, and special events. Its members, ages 25-45, give a minimum gift of $1,000 per year to their Federation’s Annual Campaign. To learn more, email Rabbi David Kessel or call (212) 284-6721.

The King David Society (KDS) is a group of major donors who have opportunities to connect with their peers and experience the global work of the Federation movement. KDS missions travel to unique destinations to get firsthand experience of Jewish life in a variety of communities. At the General Assembly, KDS donors have the opportunity to gather and hear from a top speaker in an exclusive location. To learn more, email Kim Fish or call (212) 284-6582.

The International Leadership Reunion (ILR) is a partnership between JFNA and Keren Hayesod-UIA, bringing together highly influential Jewish businesspeople and leaders from over 25 countries. Donors greatly appreciate the international friendships that are built and renewed at the ILR, as well as the opportunity to participate in high-level programming with the highest-level speakers in exciting venues around the world. To learn more, email Beverly Woznica or call (818) 383-3585.

The Joshua Society is a recognition and giving society that provides national opportunities for donors giving at the $10,000 level. The Joshua Society’s calendar includes an annual event at the GA, exclusive experiences, and briefing calls throughout the year featuring hot topics.

The Prime Minister’s Council (PMC) aims to enhance the relationship that Federation's most generous donors have with the Jewish community. By providing boutique experiences that highlight the Federation Movement's domestic and overseas work, bonds develop around shared commitments to local Federations throughout North America. To learn more, email Kim Fish or call (212) 284-6582.
